Students will create origami cranes and boats out of paper and window screening. We will first work in paper to learn the foundation of origami folds. Once this technique is mastered, we move on to weather proof materials such as window screening or treated paper. These forms are durable and colorful indoors or out, hung from ceiling hooks or tree branches.

Students will leave having made a variety of origami folds in different materials and the knowledge to explore different folds on their own.

Kits will be provided with pre-painted flat screens, 4 sizes and weights for paper folds, written directions, spray paint and extra flat screen.

This class is suitable for all ages and wonderful for families. Class size limit: 12.

Workshop fee: $85 per adult, $25 for kids.Includes materials.
