During the window of openings and closings in Canada, I spent 10 days in Montreal and Quebec City. How very lucky that a special world of French food, streets with quaint homes lining twisty streets and beautiful bikeways abound. Montreal is one of my favorite cities.
The Montreal Botanical Garden is a favorite stop with 190 acres of plants, trees, beautiful flowers, Chinese and Japanese garden and greenhouses filled with four zones of tropical, desert, forest and specialized fruit trees. A special exhibit displayed armature and fabric brilliantly lit from the interior. A guided walkway took me through different gardens and displays. This one was at the China Pavillion.
